Claire Roberts Global Literary Management
Claire Roberts founded Claire Roberts Global Literary Management in 2019. She has nearly three decades of experience in publishing, and has held executive positions at Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and worked most recently at a major literary agency, Trident Media Group. At Trident she was Vice-President and Managing Director of the Foreign Rights department.
Claire has worked with numerous prize-winning and bestselling authors, including Michael Ondaatje, Jokha Alharthi, Marilynne Robinson, Marlon James, and Lemony Snicket. She handles rights in the major markets directly, drawing on her extensive knowledge and relationships in the international markets to pair an author with the right publisher. In the smaller markets she works top international co-agents who have proven track records for selling author's works in their markets.
Contract Consultations
Lauren Carnali manages contracts for Birch Path Literary. Previously, she worked for five years as the Associate Director of Business Affairs at a prominent New York Literary Agency, and as a Contracts Associate at both Hachette Book Group and Sterling Publishing Company. Most recently, Lauren was a manager of the HarperCollins Speakers Bureau. A Pittsburgh native, Lauren attended Penn State University where she received a degree in English Literature and a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies. She has over a decade of experience in the publishing industry and is thrilled to be joining the team at Birch Path Literary.
